Air India carriers continue Jeddah, Muscat and UAE operations

Air India and Air India Express will continue operating services to key West Asian destinations, including Jeddah, Muscat and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as the two carriers jointly schedule 24 flights for the day.

According to a statement cited by News On AIR, the operations will comprise both scheduled and non-scheduled services, supporting passenger connectivity between India and major destinations across the Gulf region.

The latest flight programme highlights the continued importance of West Asia within the international networks of both airlines, particularly for business, expatriate and family travel.

Airlines maintain scheduled services to Jeddah

A significant portion of the day's operations will focus on connectivity between India and Jeddah, one of the most important destinations in the region for Indian travellers.

According to the statement, the two carriers will jointly operate a total of 10 flights between India and Jeddah.

The scheduled services include:

• Air India operating one return service from Delhi

• Air India operating two return services from Mumbai

• Air India Express operating one service from Hyderabad

• Air India Express operating one service from Kozhikode

The continuation of these services ensures uninterrupted connectivity between Indian cities and the Saudi Arabian gateway.

Muscat remains part of Gulf network operations

In addition to Jeddah services, Air India Express will continue operating scheduled flights connecting India with Muscat.

According to the statement, the airline will operate four scheduled flights to and from Muscat.

The services will include operations from:

• Delhi

• Mumbai

Muscat remains an important destination within the carrier's Gulf network, serving both business and leisure travellers as well as members of the Indian expatriate community residing in Oman.

Additional UAE flights supplement regular schedules

Beyond scheduled services, the airlines have also planned additional operations to support travel demand involving the UAE.

According to the statement, Air India and Air India Express will jointly operate 10 non-scheduled flights to and from the UAE.

These services will supplement existing scheduled operations and provide additional capacity on one of the busiest international travel corridors for Indian carriers.

The airlines noted that the operation of these flights will remain subject to:

• Availability of airport slots

• Prevailing operational conditions at departure stations

• Other applicable operational requirements
