Air India Express Flies VT-RNT 737 MAX on First International Trip to Muscat

The recently delivered Boeing 737-8 MAX VT-RNT of Air India Express made its maiden international commercial flight on January 17, 2026, departing from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi with passengers and crew on board and flying to Muscat International Airport. Not only does the flight mark the commencement of the overseas service of the aircraft, but it also strengthens the airline's fleet renewal and network expansion under Tata group ownership.

The cabin of VT-RNT features several customer-centric enhancements aimed at improving passenger experience, which include ergonomically designed seats that have plenty of legroom, individual fast-charging power outlets at each seat, and larger overhead baggage bins.
