ATR announces new CEO and CFO appointments

ATR’s board has appointed Vittorio Lorenzo Della Bella as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2026. He will succeed Nathalie Tarnaud Laude in accordance with ATR’s bylaws.

Della Bella is currently President of Leonardo Helicopters US. He previously served as Senior Vice-President of Customer Support, Services & Training at Leonardo Helicopters, where he led a global organisation of around 2,500 employees supporting more than 4,500 helicopters and 1,300 customers worldwide.

Throughout his career, Della Bella has held senior leadership positions across programme management, business development, customer support and international industrial cooperation. He also served as Managing Director of NHIndustries.

As a joint venture between Airbus and Leonardo, ATR has also appointed Patrick Bergues as Senior Vice-President Finance and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026. He will succeed Andrea Coccetti, who will take on a new role within the Leonardo group.

Bergues most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Airbus in the US and Chief Financial Officer of Starlab Space. During his more than three-decade career in aerospace finance, he has held several senior leadership positions covering corporate finance, aircraft financing, insurance and risk management, financial analysis and business control across Airbus’ commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence, space and services activities.
