The airline said the initiative forms part of a broader effort to attract engineering, maintenance and technical talent as it continues to expand operations and strengthen fleet support capabilities.
According to information released by Emirates, successful candidates will have an opportunity to engage directly with recruiters, engineering managers and technical teams while learning more about career opportunities within the organisation.
Emirates Engineering will conduct in-person recruitment sessions across key aviation talent markets during July and August.
The airline has confirmed dedicated hiring events in:
• Colombo on July 7
• Kuala Lumpur on July 7 and 8
• Bangkok on July 7 and 8
• Mumbai on July 21 and 22
• New Delhi on July 24 and 25
Candidates who meet eligibility requirements will be invited to participate in interviews and discussions with Emirates representatives.
The sessions are also designed to provide prospective employees with information on available roles, career progression opportunities, employee benefits and living and working in Dubai.
India is expected to play a significant role in the recruitment campaign, with multiple hiring events and vacancies scheduled across several cities.
According to Emirates' recruitment schedule, hiring activities in India include opportunities for senior mechanics, licensed aircraft engineers and warehouse and logistics personnel.
Key recruitment events include:
• Mumbai recruitment drives for Senior Mechanics and Licensed Aircraft Engineers
• New Delhi recruitment sessions for Licensed Aircraft Engineers
• Chennai hiring activity for Warehouse and Logistics Assistants
• Ahmedabad recruitment for Warehouse and Logistics Assistants
The airline has also listed vacancies in additional locations, including Hyderabad and Melbourne, alongside opportunities at its Dubai headquarters.
The recruitment drive spans a broad range of engineering and operational functions.
Roles highlighted by Emirates include:
• Aircraft Technicians
• Licensed Aircraft Engineers
• Senior Mechanics
• Workshop Cabin Technicians
• Warehouse and Logistics Assistants
• Engineering Support and Maintenance Specialists
The airline said the positions support its ongoing maintenance, engineering and operational requirements across its global network.
In addition to overseas recruitment, Emirates has advertised 16 engineering-related positions in the UAE, covering aircraft maintenance, procurement, technical training and workshop operations.
Current vacancies include Lead Aircraft Mechanic, Warranty Officer, Procurement Manager, Workshop Maintenance Engineer, Aircraft Mechanic, Engineering Type Instructor and Licensed Aircraft Engineer roles.
The recruitment campaign comes shortly after the Emirates Group reported record results for the 2025-26 financial year.
According to figures released by the group, it recorded:
• Profit before tax of Dh24.4 billion
• Revenue of Dh150.5 billion
• Cash assets of Dh59.6 billion
• Workforce growth of 8 per cent to 130,919 employees
The company also announced a 20-week salary bonus for employees following what it described as record profit, revenue and cash reserve levels.
The workforce expansion reflects continued hiring across both Emirates airline and aviation services provider dnata.
Emirates highlighted the scale of its engineering infrastructure in Dubai as part of the recruitment campaign.
According to the airline, its engineering centre spans approximately 55 hectares and includes 12 aircraft hangars, facilities capable of accommodating multiple Airbus A380 aircraft and engine testing infrastructure capable of handling up to 115,000 pounds of thrust.
The facility supports maintenance operations for Emirates' fleet, including the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
As airlines worldwide compete for specialised engineering and maintenance talent, Emirates' latest recruitment campaign underscores the growing importance of technical expertise in supporting fleet expansion, operational reliability and long-term aviation growth.
The scale and geographic reach of the initiative also reflects the carrier's continuing investment in engineering capabilities as it strengthens its position as one of the world's largest international airlines.
