Emirates recorded one of the lowest flight cancellation rates among the world's major airlines in June 2026, underscoring the carrier's operational resilience during a period of disruption across parts of the Middle East aviation market.
According to data published by aviation intelligence provider OAG, the Dubai-based airline cancelled just 0.16% of its scheduled flights during the month. The figure translates to fewer than two cancellations for every 1,000 scheduled services.
The latest rankings also placed Emirates among the strongest performers globally for schedule reliability, combining minimal cancellations with a high level of on-time arrivals.
OAG analysed 12,608 Emirates flights during June and ranked the airline seventh worldwide for on-time performance among carriers operating between 10,000 and 20,000 monthly flights.
The report found that 85.24% of Emirates flights arrived at the gate within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time, meeting OAG's definition of an on-time flight.

The combination of strong punctuality and very low cancellations placed the airline among the leading global performers in its operating segment.

The results were recorded during a period when airlines across the region faced operational disruption affecting schedules and network planning.
OAG measures on-time performance using a standard industry benchmark.

To qualify for the monthly rankings, airlines must:
These criteria are designed to ensure consistent comparisons across major airline operators.
According to OAG's June rankings, Saudia led the large-airline category with an on-time performance of 92.41% across 13,343 flights.
Copa Airlines ranked second with 90.75%, followed by Korean Air at 89.17%.
Emirates' performance placed it among the industry's strongest operators for schedule stability, reflecting its ability to maintain network reliability while operating one of the world's largest international airline networks.
