Noida International Airport has secured approval for its aerodrome safety plan from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, clearing a critical regulatory milestone as the greenfield project advances towards commercial operations.
The clearance confirms that the airport’s security protocols and operational procedures meet prescribed standards, bringing it closer to becoming operational in the National Capital Region.
The airport operator said the approval of its Aerodrome Security Programme marks a key step in its readiness journey.
In a statement reported by PTI, the airport said the nod validates that security frameworks and procedures are aligned with regulatory requirements, covering all aspects of airport operations.
It added that discussions are underway with airlines and stakeholders to determine a mutually agreed date for the commencement of commercial services.
