PAL to launch nonstop flights to Delhi and Mumbai

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to expand its international network with planned nonstop services from Manila to Delhi and Mumbai from December 2026, subject to Indian government approval.

The new routes will strengthen air connectivity between the Philippines and India, while providing travellers with direct access to two of the country’s key commercial and cultural hubs.

“Opening services to Delhi and Mumbai strengthens PAL’s network in one of Asia’s most dynamic economies,” said PAL President Richard Nuttall. “These routes will create new opportunities for Filipinos to explore India while supporting the growing movement of travellers, businesses and goods between our two countries.”

Flights from Manila to Delhi will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flight PR642 will depart Manila at 10:40 PM and arrive in Delhi at 3:00 AM the following day. The return service, PR643, will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing Delhi at 8:15 AM and arriving in Manila at 5:00 PM.

Manila–Mumbai flights will operate four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. PR646 will depart Manila at 10:40 PM and arrive in Mumbai at 3:05 AM the following day. The return service, PR647, will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing Mumbai at 7:15 AM and arriving in Manila at 5:00 PM. All times are local.

PAL said both routes will be operated with its 168-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft, configured with 12 lie-flat Business Class seats and 156 Economy Class seats. Passengers will receive a full-service offering, including inflight meals, entertainment and the airline’s signature service.

The new services will also add cargo capacity between the Philippines and India, allowing shipments to connect with PAL’s wider international cargo network.

Filipino passport holders can use India’s e-Visa programme, making it easier to plan travel to Delhi, Mumbai and other destinations across the country.

By opening new gateways to Delhi and Mumbai, PAL said it is bringing Filipino travellers closer to India’s culture, commerce and heritage. The airline said the expansion reflects its role as the country’s flag carrier by strengthening links between the Philippines and India and connecting Filipinos to more destinations worldwide.
