Aviation Capital Group (ACG), a global aircraft asset manager, has delivered a Boeing 737-8 to Compagnie Nationale Royal Air Maroc (Royal Air Maroc), according to a company statement.
The aircraft is the last of six aircraft delivered to the airline from ACG’s 2026 order book.
“With this latest delivery, ACG marks the addition of the sixth 737-8 to Royal Air Maroc's fleet in six months, a fantastic achievement by everyone involved,” said Carter A. White, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of ACG. “We are proud to support the airline's ongoing fleet renewal and expansion plans and wish the Royal Air Maroc team every success with these new aircraft.”

The Moroccan national carrier currently operates a fleet of 71 aircraft, of which 65 are in service, according to fleet data. Its fleet comprises ATR 72s, Boeing 737-800s, Boeing 737 MAX 8s, Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliners, and Embraer E190 aircraft. The carrier also has a Boeing 767-300F, although the aircraft has been parked since mid-2026.
The carrier recently reached a fleet milestone of 70 aircraft on September 28 following the arrival of a Boeing 737 MAX 8, registered CN-RHS. The aircraft was also delivered by Aviation Capital Group (ACG).
According to media reports, Morocco has set a target for Royal Air Maroc to expand its fleet to 200 aircraft by 2037. The plan forms part of the government’s broader strategy to strengthen international connectivity and meet rising demand for travel to and from the country.
The airline is expected to significantly expand its fleet and eventually carry around 31.6 million passengers annually.
The target is particularly significant as Morocco will co-host the FIFA World Cup in 2030 alongside Spain and Portugal. The country is also working to significantly increase airport capacity, expand tourism infrastructure and strengthen Casablanca’s role as an international aviation gateway.
