Porter Airlines is expanding its network at London International Airport (YXU) with five new domestic routes launching in spring 2027. The new services will connect London, Ontario, with Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver.
The year-round routes will provide travellers in Southwestern Ontario with direct access to key business and leisure destinations across Canada. The expansion follows Porter’s recent announcement of four routes to sun destinations in Florida, Mexico and Jamaica, starting this winter.

“We are building on the strong passenger response to our recent winter sun destinations announcement by introducing five nonstop domestic routes. This expansion demonstrates that Porter is committed to making London a meaningful part of our network,” said Kevin Jackson, President, Porter Airlines. “Travellers across Southwestern Ontario will have convenient access to popular cities from coast to coast, combined with the elevated, passenger-first experience Porter is known for. The addition of these routes ensures that over two million residents in the region have convenient travel options from their local airport.”
Porter Airlines will begin operating the new routes with Embraer E195-E2 aircraft from April 12, 2027. Services from London to Halifax (YHZ) and Vancouver (YVR) will operate up to seven and 11 times weekly, respectively. Flights to Edmonton (YEG) will launch on May 6, 2027, with seven weekly frequencies.
The airline will also deploy Dash 8-400 aircraft from April 12, 2027, with up to 20 weekly flights on both the London-Ottawa (YOW) and London-Montreal Metropolitan (YHU) routes.

Daily flights on all routes will give travellers greater flexibility, including up to three daily round trips to Montreal and Ottawa, allowing business travellers to make same-day trips. Flights to Montreal Metropolitan Airport will provide access to the city’s newest air travel experience, with the airport located around 30 minutes from downtown and offering a premium lounge environment designed for a quick and convenient journey from check-in to boarding.
“This announcement is about more than new flights. It is about connecting Southwestern Ontario to opportunities across Canada,” said Scott McFadzean, President and CEO, London International Airport. “These five domestic non-stop routes represent a transformational investment in our region, strengthening access for travellers and businesses while enhancing London's position as a growing centre for aviation and aerospace. We thank Porter Airlines for their continued confidence in our airport, our community and our future.”
The routes will be operated using Porter’s 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 and 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft, with no middle seats. Passengers will also receive Porter’s economy service, including complimentary beer and wine served in glassware and premium snacks. Free high-speed Wi-Fi will be available on E195-E2 flights.
For a more inclusive travel experience, PorterReserve offers extra-legroom seats at the front of the cabin, dedicated check-in and boarding, two checked bags, and complimentary fresh meals and premium cocktails on longer routes. Alternatively, passengers choosing PorterClassic can customise their trip by adding perks à la carte.
