The airline announced a phased increase in frequencies between Hamad International Airport (DOH) and Dubai International Airport (DXB) beginning on 5 June, with additional flights being introduced progressively throughout the summer season.
According to reporting by Khaleej Times, the expansion is intended to provide greater flexibility for passengers travelling between the two Gulf cities while strengthening connectivity for both business and leisure traffic.
Rather than introducing all new services at once, Qatar Airways is implementing the expansion in phases.
The airline confirmed that the existing two daily flights will initially increase to three daily services from 5 June, with further additions planned over the following weeks.
The rollout schedule includes:
• Two daily flights increasing to three daily services from 5 June
• A fourth daily flight being introduced from 15 June
• A fifth daily service returning during the summer season
• Operations being conducted using Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft
Once fully implemented, the schedule will provide up to 35 weekly flights between Doha and Dubai.
The increased frequencies are expected to offer passengers more travel options throughout the day while improving onward connectivity through Qatar Airways' global network.
The capacity increase comes as Qatar Airways continues rebuilding services across the Middle East following recent disruptions.
According to Khaleej Times, Gulf airlines have been progressively restoring and expanding route networks following the announcement of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
Qatar Airways has steadily resumed operations across the region over recent months and currently serves more than 20 destinations in the Middle East.
Recent network developments include:
• The resumption of Dubai services in April
• The return of Sharjah operations in April
• The restart of Abu Dhabi flights in May
The Dubai expansion represents the next stage of the airline's broader regional recovery strategy.

The carrier has focused on gradually rebuilding frequencies and restoring routes while monitoring operational conditions across the region.
