Lufthansa Cargo has unveiled its winter flight schedule, offering customers 88 freighter routes to 40 destinations worldwide during the upcoming schedule period.
Under its winter schedule, Lufthansa Cargo will offer up to 46 weekly freighter rotations to 17 destinations across the Asia-Pacific region. The expanded network includes additional intra-Asian and transpacific connections, with Singapore joining the existing Frankfurt–Taipei rotation.
The new intra-Asian route will give Lufthansa Cargo customers additional network options and main-deck capacity within Asia. The increased frequency on the transpacific route from Frankfurt via Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) and Shanghai (PVG) to Los Angeles (LAX), operating two days a week, will continue from the summer schedule. Additional flights from Frankfurt to Taipei (TPE) and Chengdu (CTU) will also continue, with each route operating three days a week.
Lufthansa Cargo will also resume cargo services between Almaty (ALA) and Frankfurt. In Mumbai, the airline will shift its freighter operations to the new Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMI) from 12 October, adding another stop to its network in the region. The move from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) is linked to infrastructure upgrades aimed at increasing capacity and improving operational efficiency.
With the relocation, Lufthansa Cargo aims to maintain connections between key industrial and manufacturing hubs in the region and international markets through its global network. Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMI) is located around 30 kilometres east of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) and began domestic operations last year.

SWISS WorldCargo will also add Bengaluru (BLR) to its route network from Zurich, giving customers in southern India access to another European hub and additional routing options.
Lufthansa Cargo will continue to cover four destinations in South America, served by four weekly connections, and 11 destinations in North America. Lufthansa Cargo will increase frequencies to Dallas (DFW) to four weekly services, Houston to three and New York (JFK) to five, with each destination receiving one additional service.
Within Europe, Lufthansa Cargo will offer up to three weekly freighter rotations using Boeing 777F aircraft, serving up to three destinations. Flights from Frankfurt to Larnaca (LCA), Istanbul (IST) and Stavanger (SVG), previously operated on a short-term basis, will become part of the regular schedule. Destinations previously served by Airbus A321F freighters will continue to be covered by long-haul freighters or the Lufthansa Group’s passenger network until a new operator is found for the four short- and medium-haul freighters.
Lufthansa Group’s network will also add new destinations for cargo customers. Lufthansa Airlines will serve Kuala Lumpur (KUL), the Malaysian capital, five times a week. From November, ITA Airways will add Santo Domingo (SDQ) in the Dominican Republic to its long-haul schedule, with two flights per week.
“With the upcoming flight schedule, our network remains one of the strongest to, from, and within Europe. Approximately 7,500 flights to 350. destinations via our six European hubs of Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Brussels, Rome and Zurich will continue to be available, offering fast and reliable transport options for Lufthansa Cargo customers. True to our mission, ‘Enabling Global Business,’ we will continue to flexibly align our route network with the needs of our customers and changing business flows,” said Ashwin Bhat, CEO of Lufthansa Cargo. He adds: “India is one of the strategically important growth markets for Lufthansa Cargo.
