Noida International Airport has expanded its domestic network by adding six new destinations from July 1, taking the total number of cities served to 16 less than three weeks after commencing commercial operations.
The new routes, operated by IndiGo, connect the airport with Bhopal, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Jodhpur, Bareilly and Pantnagar. Ticket bookings for all six destinations are now open.
The expansion marks another milestone for the airport, which began commercial operations on June 15 with flights to six cities.
More destinations for NCR travellers
The latest additions significantly widen travel options for passengers from Noida and the wider National Capital Region (NCR).
At launch, the airport offered direct services to:
- Lucknow
- Navi Mumbai
- Jammu
- Amritsar
- Hyderabad
- Bengaluru
With the new routes, travellers can now also fly directly to:
- Bhopal
- Dehradun
- Dharamshala
- Jodhpur
- Bareilly
- Pantnagar
The expanded network gives passengers more direct connectivity without relying exclusively on Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport for domestic travel.
More routes already in the pipeline
The airport's expansion is set to continue over the coming weeks.
According to the published schedule:
- Jaipur and Kishangarh services will begin on July 2.
- Jaipur flights will operate daily.
- Kishangarh services will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
- Direct flights to Chandigarh will commence on July 13.
Among the newly launched routes, flights to Jodhpur and Bareilly will operate four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, while the remaining new destinations will be served according to the regular schedule.
Flight activity doubles
The network expansion is also driving a sharp increase in airport operations.
When commercial services began in mid-June, Noida International Airport handled 24 aircraft movements each day, comprising 12 departures and 12 arrivals.
With the introduction of the additional routes, daily aircraft movements will double to 48, strengthening the airport's operational capacity and improving connectivity across northern and central India.
IndiGo continues to anchor early operations
IndiGo remains the primary airline driving the airport's initial expansion.
According to the published timetable:
- Amritsar flights depart at 10:10 am.
- Bengaluru and Hyderabad services leave at 2:45 pm and 2:50 pm, respectively.
- Dehradun departures are scheduled for 7:10 pm.
- Dharamshala flights depart at 9:55 am.
Additional schedules for Jaipur, Kishangarh and Chandigarh services have also been published ahead of their respective launch dates.
Airport builds momentum after commercial launch
The rapid expansion reflects the airport's phased strategy to strengthen domestic connectivity following its commercial debut.
Growing from six to 16 destinations in just over two weeks, alongside a doubling of daily aircraft movements, positions Noida International Airport as an increasingly important aviation hub for the National Capital Region. With more routes scheduled to launch during July, the airport is expected to continue expanding its network and passenger capacity in the weeks ahead.
